The Varsity Cheerleading team traveled to Richmond, Virginia, on Saturday to compete in the Christian Cheerleaders of America’s East Coast Regionals Competition and they took it all! The team competed against high school teams from North and South Carolina, Virginia, and Maryland.
They won 1st place in the Large Varsity Division and they also took home the coveted Grand Champion trophy awarded to the team with the highest score out of all (small, medium and large) Varsity Divisions. “It was a tough competition and the team performed their routine seamlessly!” said Coach, Angela Hope-Eskew. “Congratulations to the girls, they were awesome!”
The win qualifies the team for the CCA national championships in Winston-Salem in March.
