Briggy Imbrigliia, Bishop Ireton class of 2008, ended his University of Virginia diving career on a high note winning the NCAA Zone competition to qualify for the NCAA’s national championships in Seattle, Washington, this past weekend.
The eonomics major won the platform diving event at the Buffalo qualifying event and went on to earn a 13th place in the national championships as well competing in the 1 meter and 3 meter events. He was the first UVa diver to ever compete in all three events for the Cavaliers and only the second diver in school history to dive in the NCAA championships.
