Cardinals offer a "freebie" on Saturday for 12:45 varsity boys basketball vs Trinity Christian School
Bishop Ireton’s athletic department will spread some holiday cheer with an invitation to Saturday’s Trinity Christian School game at Bishop Ireton as a free admission event.
“With the Crew team selling Christmas trees, our winter league boys lacrosse league operating on Fannon Field, we thought a 12:45 varsity game would be a great cap to the day for those visitors and fans that we will here.” explained athletic director, Bill Simmons. “It will be a fun afternoon and a good opportunity to see some high school basketball.”
The Cardinals, (3-1, 0-0) on the young season have their final tune up in their second of five consecutive home games before hosting nationally ranked Paul VI on Tuesday in Father Godley Gym in the Cardinals’ WCAC season opener. Tipoff for that game is 7:30pm, and admission will be $5/person.
