Antonio Rouse and the Cardinals face Northwood in the Chatlee Shootout championship Thursday in Sanford NC
Senior Patrick Hanafin scored a game-high 19 points and Bishop Ireton (7-3) battled back in the second half after losing an 8-point first half lead to overcome host Lee County High School 53-45 and advance to the championship game in Sanford, NC.
Hanafin snared 12 rebounds as well and led the Cardinals to a date at 8pm Thursday at Lee County High School with Northwood High School of Pittsboro, North Carolina. The Chargers topped East Chapel Hill in the other semi final to advance.
