Tennis blanks Mustangs, 9-0

Bishop Ireton (2-1) girls defeated Bishop McNamara in a clean sweep win of 9-0 in their second winning match of the new season at Cosca Regional Park in Maryland.

What was previously a close matchup with McNamara as WCAC rivals was a cruise to victory for the Cardinals. Following wins in all singles positions Ireton pressed on

taking all doubles matches to complete close out win.

Led by Coach Katie Sloper (BI Alum) the team will face WCAC champions St. John’s, their toughest rival, on Monday at 4pm at Carl Sandburg.
