Bishop Ireton’s swim and dive season, with 7 school-record breaking performances and championship performances at the recent state meet, added another laurel to the campaign with convincing dual meet wins on the men’s and women’s teams in their final dual meet of the season over arch rival, Bishop O’Connell. The rivalry win was extra sweet for Coach John Gullickson, whose half brother, Coach Stiles is the mentor of the Knights swim team. Ireton heads to the Metros this weekend at the Germantown Swim and Dive facility at the SoccerPlex. The men prevailed 86-74, while the women breezed to 114-70 win.
