The Bishop Ireton Ice Hockey team opened its season on Friday, November 20th, by dominating a combined TC Williams/Washington-Lee squad 11-0 at Tucker Road Ice Rink in Ft. Washington, MD. The BI squad was led by Tom Cyrnak with 4 goals and 1 assist, and Dillon Roach with 2 goals and 2 assists. Also chipping in goals for BI were Nick Tangora, Reid Yager, Dave Souliotis, Tommy Casey and Joe Lavelle, each with 1 goal. William Chastain, James Smith, Souliotis, Yager, N. Tangora, and Lavelle registered assists. Robert Chastain posted his first shutout of the season, stopping 12 shots.
