After hitting the crossbar twice and peppering St Johns College High School with 17 shots to only four for the Cadets on Tuesday, Ireton unloaded on the second year school in Dumfries Wednesday. The eight goals were the most by the Alexandria school in over 5 years. Cardinal will find the going alittle tougher on Friday when they start the second half of the WCAC season at DeMatha. The Cardinals carry a 5-game unbeaten string into the contest. DeMatha won the season opener at Ireton 5-0.
