Senior Christian Flores won his first varsity match played as the Cardinals five players from the class of 2015 combined to top the Academy of the Holy Cross, 8-1 in WCAC golf action at Army-Navy Country Club Monday.
Joining Flores was Dominic Wagner, Jake Murray, Carter Rostron, and Drew Smith with wins for Bishop Ireton. The squad’s win improved their WCAC record to 6-3 with a season-ending dual match with Gonzaga slated for Wednesday, also at the historic Army-Navy venue in Arlington. Tee time is 3:30pm.
WCAC championship action takes place on Tuesday, May 12th at the University of Maryland Golf Course in College Park, Maryland. Golfers tee off at 12:30pm.
