Inside Lacrosse said of Ireton, “After a bumpy stretch in mid-April, Rick Sofield’s team won the season finale over perennial power St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes, becoming the first team in school history to capture both the WCAC and the Virginia Independent State Athletic Association titles.”
The other nominees are Manhasset (NY); McDonogh (MD); Moorestown (NJ); and Vero Beach (FL).
