Junior Thomas Ward paced the Cardinals at the 41st Annual Georgetown Prep Invitational in Bethesda.
Bishop Ireton participated in the 41st Annual Georgetown Prep Invitational on Saturday, Oct 18th, with some strong results from our cross country teams.
The Ireton ladies turned in another fine performance as they finished second overall with a score of 66 points. Junior Maggie Lohrer once again lead the way with her third place finish. Close behind in seventh place, Junior Isabelle Wilcox finished with a time of 21:44. Freshman Lizzie Lohrer and Seniors Natalie Irwin and Kaitlin Luzik rounded out Ireton’s scoring five.
Junior Thomas Ward once again led the boys team as he finished in 18th place overall. Junior Aaron Ault, junior Steve Sisel, freshman Chris Gaietto, and junior Chris App rounded out Ireton’s top five. Freshman Will Olson made his first appearance on Ireton’s varsity squad with a time of 22:35.
